epiphany...? ha! 11-29-'xx: 2:26pm [ maquilladora: radiohead ] so yesterday i had another one of my infamous visits to the doctor's office. this time, it was because of some kind of swollen gland in my neck. i wasn't really sure what was going on...it just hurt a lot and kind of throbbed. not that huge of a deal, just really irritating. the visit wasn't really exciting. i went early in the morning this time so i didn't have to wait so long, they prescribed me some antibiotics and sent me on my way. after going all the way out to costco to find that it doesn't open for general members until 11am, i went home and slept until 2pm, then went to IB music to hear mrs. ormson's lecture. [ together, forever in love: go sailor ] woo hoo, exciting. i stayed home today, too, because i felt crappy and puny, but i'm doing fine now. i just needed to sleep it off, y'know? and it feels like it's going away, so...that's good. i had the weirdest dream last night, though. i dreamed that somehow i made it to some huge protest by some enviornmental group at target. they said that target did cruel things to animals. it was like, in the middle of the night, and somehow we'd all broken in...well, i really don't know how i got there because i was pretty against what they were going to do. basically, they were going to trash the place, and then leave. [ no milk today: (as performed by) the mr t experience ] so they started and i like, got up on this giant...thing, i'm not sure what it was...and gave this speech. i said that they were being very immature and hypocritical by destroying target, and it was just going to make the public view them as hooligans and they'd be even further behind on getting their message heard than they had been before their "protest". it was quite enlightening, and they all agreed with me and left. i said that they should try to find more constructive means of getting their messages to the public...that way they would gain support instead of enemies. [ panic song: green day ] anyway. yeah. that's my contribution to society right there. i wanted to rake the leaves today, but someone jacked our rake. and it's raining out there. freezing rain. that's about all for today. remember, there are only 24 shopping days left....right? am i right? ←/ b a c k w a r d / f o r w a r d /→ |
