a few words

a day off. finally. and not one of those "days off" where sure, i don't have to go to school, but i still have to rake leaves or go to a game or something. a real day off, where i slept in until noon and i now sit here doing pretty much nothing. i don't have to be anywhere, and in all honesty, i could sit here all day doing nothing and it would make no difference.

i kind of feel guilty, however, when remember that the reason i have this day off is because people died in wars fighting for this country.

i won't get into that too much, though. i paid respects at the assembly yesterday...well...except for when i screwed up the bell part on "the invincible eagle" really bad. yeeeeah.

and yesterday, for the first time, i experienced two band phenomenons...the movie marathon and the slurpee thursday. not much to report on either...i brought the movie because it seems like i'm pretty much the only person who owns "strange brew" in these parts...and why not go get slurpees? sheli paid for mine, she's super. they were burger king slurpees...but that's because the crew already took the liberty of getting us banned from 7-11. i'm not surprised. anyway....sheli says that from now on, i'm going everywhere with all of them. i feel so...loved! yay!

and so, the matt ackerman fan club is currently running it's current fall campaign. and to tell you the truth...i feel kinda bad about it all. because i really do think matt is a cool guy and all, and it seems like we could be coming off as sarcastic about it all. it just seems like the kind of thing that could effect a friendship, y'know? not like me and matt are all that tight or anything...but i'm not the only member. and besides...it's all kinda strange...but funny, nonetheless.

ever get the feeling that someone hates you and just isn't telling you because they don't want to hurt your feelings? that you're ruining their day every time you say something? i've been getting that feeling a lot lately. and ever get the feeling that you talk and no one listens? that's another one.
