beep beep, funny-looking jeeps

i saw a jeep grand cherokee in the parking lot at taco bell and i have to say that it's a good deal more funny-looking than the cherokee sport. it's not as bad as, say, the nissan x-terra [ which completely bypasses "funny looking" and goes straight to "butt ugly" ], but it's still got this strange look to it. it gets a 5 out of ten on the funny-looking scale. at least it isn't towering over all the other cars like, say, a ford explorer. those things scare me. seriously. one of those things would demolish me and my car if i got in a wreck with one.

i also had the pleasure of seeing a jeep liberty...now, if the grand cherokee gets a 5, this gets at least a 9. it's like a streamlined version of the wrangler. my first impulse when looking at it is to laugh because it looks so comical. like the echo...very cartoonish. i think that the only car that will ever be able to get away with the cartonish look is the volkswagen beetle. the original. not even the new beetle does it very well.

so if you regular readers didn't already notice, i re-did the site design. it's somewhat of a complete 180^o turn from the old site...excluding the band theme. it took me forever to figure out how to get the tables right. i'm not kidding.

and i feel kinda crummy because that's all i've gotten accomplished today. i think that i may clean house or something, just to feel like i'm not worthless. i have a lesson at 7pm...this time teaching a girl who has never played before. this should be an interesting experience.

ok. i'm off to do something. yeeeeah!
