another plesant valley sunday

i had a dream last night that i was on the show ally mcbeal. i don't even watch that show. the crazy stuff my sleeping mind comes up with!

so today i ventured to the store to buy some hygene items. i got three different kinds of conditioner that are cheap and smell good. it is my philosophy that expensive conditioner is crap, that cheap stuff works just as good most of the time AND it smells better. that may or may not be true [ the part about $$$$ and $ conditioner being the same...the smell part is DEFINITELY true ]...i'm no cosmotologist...but it certainly makes buying conditioner less painful on my wallet. i got three bottles for less than $5...peach, apple, and strawberry. i LOVE they way the smell.

i then went down to st vincent de paul. hadn't been there in awhile...needed to check up on the inventory. i ended up finding an old sergio mendez and the brazil '66 record. you don't get much better than that for 50 cents. i got a cute little shirt with strawberries on it, too. it's so...summery. makes me happy just to look at it. strawberries...mmmmmmm.

what does this all mean? i haven't gotten anything useful done today. absolutely nothing. well. unless you count re-stocking my conditioner supply. having good smelling hair is important, even if no one will ever get close enough to me for it to make a difference. i had to get out of the house, though...it's a beautiful day. the kind of day that only comes a few times a year...it's either too hot or too damn cold when it comes to the weather here. getting out and using my legs made me feel like not so much of a bum.

everybody join my super-duper update mailing list so that i feel like i have friends. i'll send out a mailing whenever i update. or at least, i'll try.

i wish that i was graduating today. 20 days. it can't come fast enough.
