i finally figured out how to get a guestbook up. chant it together: sell-out! sell-out! sell-out!

actually...i just thought it would be kind of interesting to see who reads this thing. who reads this thing and actually signs the guestbook, anyway.

so the concert last night.....yeeeeeeeesh. i was a tad dissapointed, but now that i think about it, i'm not really that surprised. sure, the orchestra did fantastic...but i should have seen the wind ensemble's sub-par performance coming, seeing that the rehersals haven't been that super, attitudes have been a tad crappy, and focus has been pratically nonexistent. i just feel a tad cheated for the people who actually do pull their weight...they don't deserve to have the slackers pulling them down and practically embarassing them.

so we went to dennys afterward for dessert and who do we see but mr ormson and his wife. they will never escape my wrath! muahahahahaha!!!!!

so we had a rehersal this morning from 10 to noon...and surprisingly, it went well. see, i was expecting the wind ensemble to play better last night because it's been my experience that when ensembles i'm in [ namely the orchestra ] realize what's going on, that they're performing in front of people, it puts the fear of God into them and they play well just for that reason. but it didn't go that way last night...i guess we needed that one crappy performance to get the fear of God stirred up...now maybe we can play like we're capable of playing. at least, i hope so. the rehersal today showed that at least there's a little hope of not embarassing ourselves at WIBC.

chamber choir amazed me...we went through two entire songs. i'm totally not used to just picking up music and going through it like that. i like to break things up but...hey, everyone has a different style.

and that's about all for now. it's dumb, but i'm kinda tired. i've had a weird little sinus headache ever since rehersal and it's bugging the crap out of me. i think i'll go take a nap.
