..it might as well be spring.

4-21-'o1: 9:11pm

so i decided that i'd take a little walk down to the pik-a-pop to get myself a soda. with ice. a harmless adveture...y'know, a little excersise with a reward in the middle for my efforts. a way to spend the change that's been taunting me from the back of the toilet, saying "spend me! spend me!"

so i set off...despite the ominous looking april shower clouds, it was still pretty nice. i only felt slightly naked without a sweater on. i walked at a brisk pace while listening to my dork mix CD, taking advantage of one of the like, two spring days we'll have this year. ahead of me and across the road, i see this couple. i didn't pay them much mind, i just looked to see if i knew either of them, and i didn't, so they just remained a little ahead of me in my peripheral vision.

that is, until they stopped. then...it was amazing! it was like two people had become one! they just stood there on the side of the road, making out. i don't want to sound prude or anything...but i really thought it was hilarious. i mean...what a completely random and absolutely silly thing to do. i mean, what were they thinking? "this sure looks like a good place to make out." i guess they were probably far too in love to really care, but the lack of a two-way relationship in my life forced me to see things a little bit more objectively. i hate that. it's spring, and while people are like beautiful paintings and sculptures, here i am...a calculator. is it possible to make a calculator into a work of art?

or maybe i should ask the real question: does anyone even want to try?
