well. yeah. 6-7-'o1: 3:11pm well...i am technically no longer in high school. and today passed, to my surprise, without a whole lot of emotion and fuss. yearbooks were signed, finals were taken. the most spectacular thing, as a matter of fact, was that we had a fire alarm during wind ensemble. "whoever pulled it," jacque said, "just ruined my last day of band." it was uncool. but the rest of the day was actually very good. it's not over yet, though. tomorrow, and then saturday. after that...it's time to search for a job. i'm going to try and open up a checking account this weekend to stick all my graduation money in...already i have $175 to my name in checks, which is more money i've had at one time than i have in the past like, two years. pretty sad. baccalaureate and the senior diner were great. after baccalaureate, i caught up with a friend i hadn't seen in forever...she got married and moved out two years ago, so she took only what she needed to graduate [ which wasn't much after a full freshman and sophomore year ib schedule ]...and i ended up not seeing her very often. we went out for coffee and i talked with her and her mom and sister for two hours or so. it was great. senior dinner was awesome too. i sat at a table with ruth's family and andy's mom and the hardys. i ended up taking home not only an academic certificate from the choral instrumental, and language arts departments, but also the top achievment award in instrumental music. the lasagna was good. and then...senior roast monday. i'm curious. and the instrumental music awards, as well. it should be an interesting event...haha. after that i go up to visit my grandmother near seattle...woooo hoooooo. and the sad thing...i'm going back to school all monday. to file music. yep. ←/ b a c k w a r d / f o r w a r d /→ |
